Honestly, this was such a bad idea.
Kuroo was so frustrated, so defeated, that all he could do was let out a weak laugh. How could baking you a cake as a special thank you for being the best mother and wife in the world go so wrong?
It had started out so well. He’d researched recipes and gathered his supplies. Kuroo had even preheated the oven so that everything would come back exactly on time. Measuring cups and spoons, bowls, and whisks were laid out across the table, ready to be used. It was completely mis en place like Iwaizumi was always going on about. But that’s when everything suddenly went south.
It

Pick up Lines [Kageyama Tobio]
“Let’s have a toast to my cute ex-underclassman”, Tooru chirped, clinging his glass against Tobio’s beer bottle.
Steely eyes, the colour of the turbulent sea during a storm, stared back at the smiling man. Tobio shook his head.
“Why am I even here?” he muttered, taking a sip out of his bottle.
“For old times’ sake!” the familiar chirping offered an utterly unnecessary answer to his rhetorical question. “Come on, let’s enjoy this magnificent opportunity to enjoy some time together, underclassman!” massive grin adorning his lips, Tooru wrapped his arm around the raven-ha

Goodnight - Kageyama Tobio x Reader
The chilly night air cools your burning cheeks as you down the road with Tobio. You stare at your shakey, somewhat sweaty hands in silence. You can’t believe you were going to do this. You had gone this long without telling him, maybe you could go a few more days avoiding it... or weeks... maybe months? No! You had to get this over with today. Glancing at Kageyama out of the corner of your eye, he doesn’t seem to notice anything off about you. He walks calmly, staring straight ahead blankly.
You’re staring, you remind yourself. Swiftly looking away to the stars twinkling overhead, you inhale a calming breath. It was

Everything was perfect. The already clean house was even cleaner than usual, and the sunlight streamed cheerfully through the navy blue curtains. Not a speck of dust that was visible to the eye was on the furniture, and the scent of pork curry wafting through the air. The woman in the middle of the apartment clasped her hands together, content with the appearance of the room. Her fiance had been playing volleyball overseas for the past few months, and she had been counting down the days until he came back.
And that was the present day.
She had prepared his favorite foods, and every

“Tooru, this is so expensive!”
You stared at the palm sized circular jar in your hands in disbelief. You couldn’t believe your stupid friend had even gotten this for you, much less everything else on the table, and expected you not to react as you were.
“Hush, (Name). You know beauty comes at great price.”
Oikawa sounded so smug and superior as he took the jar from your hand and smeared the cream onto your face. The boys were standing a bit away from you, full of soft giggles as they worked a different jar of expensive hair mask into Bokuto’s hair. You were amazed how spikey the

Date | Kuroo, Bokuto, Oikawa
A smile had earned permanent residence on your face since the week before last, and was accompanied by waves of warmth and anxious feelings. Your roommates, who most likely could have cared less, were forced to watch you cavort dreamily around the loft and stifle girly giggle-fits; so much so that they wondered if a mental institution would be better suited for you.
You didn't expect them to understand or take sympathy upon your pitiful and arguably awkward single-life. In the end, it hardly mattered because the night had finally arrived.
You had a date.
His name was Reji, a name Bokuto for some reason found snortable. You'd seen him aro

The first time you touched Kuroo Tetsurou’s hair was during a rainy day.
It poured like tomorrow wouldn't come, blustering. In fact, you could barely make out the school gate from the entranceway.
Fortunately, you didn't seem to be the only one who forgot their umbrella. A guy you recognized as someone from the class next to yours was standing under the last bit of shelter the school provided, just staring blankly at the rain. You made your way next to him, doing the exact same thing. It wasn't like you could do anything else, really.

an average confession | kageyama
Kageyama was the Great King of volleyball, but he was nothing more than a lowly peasant when it came to being inconspicuous. And plucking up the courage to confess.
Every member of the Karasuno Volleyball Team had noticed his lingering stares, faintly flushed cheeks, and awkward, nervous hand-rubbing whenever you were there to watch them practice. Each time he’d score and you’d cheer, with your voice nasally and cracking, the usually cold and dark teen would beam with pride. Not exactly smile, but have this kind of aura around him that rivaled the glare of the sun itself.
It had already been a month since the beginning of these

Tsukishima Kei typed on his laptop with such grace and speed like his life depended on finishing these urgent letters that demanded the design management and production department to alter the design and functions of their latest prototype. It was not because the initial prototype failed to fulfil his expectation, but a mole, disguised as one of the Karasuno’s staff, managed to lea
